Grammar county park.. Clean bathrooms. Lots of places to walk and a disc golf course. Suffered some damage from Helene but was open Oct 2034

Awesome disc course! Had to skip hole 3 which requires a 50 yard toss across the pond.

This gorgeous disc golf course is located in the fairly tiny town of Jefferson, North Carolina. For such a small town, with, honestly, not that many sport participants, the quality of this public course is truly outstanding! This course is certainly in a scenic location, with Mount Jefferson a very short distance away. The grounds here are certainly well-kept. Course signage is very useful, accurate, and even instructional. This course is often considered the number 1 rated public course in the state of North Carolina. That is, of course, subjective, depending on what you are looking for, as every person has different desires in course difficulty, and various risks. Number one? I don’t know, but let me say it is extremely fun, well laid out, challenging, GORGEOUS, and rewarding, if you have a good round. I have to say this is a fairly exhausting course. It starts fairly level, fairly wide open, but hit the section of course that climbs the park’s mountain, and you will see and feel and enjoy some serious elevation changes. All in all, it’s hard to beat this course! If you are anywhere near this course, I highly recommend you stop and throw for a spell. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Great disc golf course! Well maintained with nice baskets, although the tee boxes were a little rough at times. The pro-tees are pretty challenging and there is plenty of elevation changes so get ready for a hike. I would recommend playing the amateur tees if you're a beginner-moderate player.

Great disc golf course, leaves make discs hard to find in the fall/winter.
